Clan Cancer Support and Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) have been selected as the charity beneficiaries of the Aberdeen and north-east Rotary Clubs popular annual car raffle for 2026.
Supported by Rotary Clubs across the region, tickets are now on sale, giving members of the public the chance to win a brand new Suzuki Swift 1.2 Hybrid motor car for just £1.
A familiar sight for Christmas shoppers in Aberdeen, the annual raffle will once again culminate with the car on display at the Bon Accord Centre, where the winning ticket will be drawn on Christmas Eve.
Funds raised through the raffle will directly support both organisations in continuing their vital work across the north-east and beyond. Clan provides free emotional and physical support to anyone impacted by a cancer diagnosis across the north-east, Moray, Orkney and Shetland, while SCAA delivers life-saving pre-hospital emergency care to patients across Scotland.
Angus Mackintosh, chair of the Rotary District Raffle, said: “Rotary is pleased to once again be running the annual car raffle in support of local charities. After seeking the views of our local Rotary clubs, there was strong support for selecting both Clan and Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance as the main beneficiaries for this year’s campaign.
“We very much look forward to working alongside both charities to promote the raffle and help support the excellent work they do within the local community.

“We would also like to thank C&M McDonald garage in Kintore for their ongoing generous support and valued contribution towards the provision of the raffle car.”
Emma Panton, head of Income generation at Clan, said: “We’re proud to have been selected as one of the beneficiaries of the Rotary car raffle this year, alongside Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance. This is a fantastic opportunity to raise vital funds and awareness for the support we provide to people impacted by cancer across our communities.
“We hope people will get behind the campaign and support us by buying tickets, helping us continue to deliver our services free of charge to those who need them most.”
Claire Bain, community fundraising officer at SCAA said: “It’s wonderful that Rotarians from clubs across the North-east have chosen to support both charities through their annual Rotary Car Raffle in partnership with C&M McDonald.
“Every ticket sold will help raise awareness and essential funds to keep our life-saving service in the air; ensuring that no one in Scotland dies because help can’t get there in time.
“One of SCAA’s airbases is in Aberdeen, and we know the generosity of the people in the north-east. We’re extremely grateful to both the Rotarians and those who support their fundraising venture by buying raffle tickets – every one is helping to save lives.”
Tickets for the raffle cost £1 and are available from Rotary Clubs across the north-east, all Clan wellbeing centres and shops and SCAA.
Locations of Clan wellbeing centres and shops can be found on the Clan website.
Tickets will also be available from SCAA staff and volunteers and can be purchased at many talks and events in communities across Scotland.
