Aberdeen-based AV One Solutions has completed the design and installation of fully integrated audio-visual and collaboration spaces for global IT services partner Sword at its new office at The Hill of Rubislaw.

Following the consolidation of three Aberdeen locations into one central headquarters, Sword required a scalable, intuitive and future-ready AV solution to support seamless collaboration across meeting rooms, open-plan areas, breakout spaces and hybrid working environments.

As outlined in the newly published case study, AV One worked closely with Sword’s project team to deliver a consistent meeting experience across Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex and Zoom platforms.

The project included multiple meeting room configurations, a fully equipped boardroom with ceiling microphones and speakers, collaboration zones, townhall space, reception displays, Zoom pods with integrated booking panels and digital displays throughout the workspace.

Built on Cisco collaboration technology, the solution provides AI-enhanced video and audio performance, integrated Microsoft 365 room booking and centralised system management via Webex Control Hub giving Sword full visibility of room usage, occupancy and system performance.

The project was delivered on time and within budget, with future scalability built into every space to accommodate the company’s continued growth.

Graeme McGuire, Managing Director at AV One Solutions, commented: “Projects like this are about more than installing technology. It’s about creating environments that genuinely support the way people work. Sword’s new workspace reflects their ambition and professionalism and we’re proud to have played a part in bringing that vision to life.”

The result is a modern, flexible workspace that enhances day-to-day collaboration, improves user experience and supports Sword’s long-term business objectives.
