Kevin Dalgleish, Chef and Owner of Amuse by Kevin Dalgleish on Queen’s Terrace will battle against three Scottish chefs to take home the regional title in this year’s Great British Menu TV show.
The show aired last night at 8pm and continues on Wednesday and Thursday this week. Viewers will find out if Kevin has progressed from the Scottish heat to challenge for the UK-wide title.
This year’s theme celebrates the 65th birthday of Paddington Bear, with each of the chefs creating dishes inspired by British animation and illustration from cartoons and comic books to video games.
Kevin said: “This year’s brief was British animation and illustration, which was a joy - it brought back lovely memories of my childhood in Hawick. I can’t wait for people to see my interpretation of the theme through the dishes that I created to showcase Scotland’s natural larder.”
