There is good news for all tourism and hospitality innovative, inclusive, and eco-conscious businesses in Aberdeen City and Shire. The Aberdeen City and Shire Thistle Awards
(ACSTA) has announced an extension of the submission deadline for 2024 entries until 6pm on Monday, May 6, giving tourism and hospitality stars extra time to shine.
ACSTA organisers are on the hunt for entries that break the mould and redefine excellence in tourism. They are seeking entries from those leading the charge in innovation, paving the way for inclusive tourism, operating the friendliest B&Bs, and championing climate action. There are 15 categories in total in the 2024 awards.
Chairman Stephen Gow, MI FiH says, “We’ve extended the deadline to 6pm on 6 May to give businesses more time to compose their entries. The awards are a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the diverse talents and contributions within our community. So, whether you're a boutique hotel, a family-run B&B or an eco-conscious tour operator, we encourage you to seize this chance to shine.

Entries for the Aberdeen City and Shire Thistle Awards are free and can be made online at www.acsta.co.uk until 6pm on Monday 6 May. The winners will be announced at a gala dinner at The Chester Hotel in Aberdeen on September 20, 2024, and will go on to represent the region at the national Thistle Awards later in the year.
