Christmas has arrived early in the Granite City with £2,000 in Aberdeen Gift Cards to be given away in the city centre over the next seven days.
Aberdeen Inspired hopes their competition will not only give lucky winners a festive boost but also provide a real lift for “bricks and mortar” traders and businesses by encouraging people to come into the city centre and shop local.
The Aberdeen City Centre Great Gift Card Giveaway will run from Monday, December 1, to Sunday, December 7 with 100 x £10 gift cards and 10 x £100 gift cards up for grabs at city centre businesses.

City centre businesses who are part of Aberdeen Gift Card will have small cards available featuring a QR code or display the code on a flyer. Just scan the QR code on your phone to have a chance of instantly winning an Aberdeen Gift Card prize.
Winners can choose between the physical or digital Aberdeen Gift Card, which can be spent with over 300 businesses in Aberdeen, including shops, restaurants, salons and services and entertainment venues.
Since it was launched in 2020 by Aberdeen Inspired, the Aberdeen Gift Card has generated some £4.4 million in sales, all going back into the local economy. As people spend an average of 65% more than the face value of their card, that spending figure is closer to £7.2 million.
