Aberdeen Cocktail Week will return from May 14 - 24 2026, bringing together 27 venues across the city in a coordinated showcase of Aberdeen’s hospitality sector.
The year's event will feature more than 80 cocktails, all created exclusively for festival wristband holders by bartenders working in Aberdeen, highlighting the creativity within the city’s bar scene.
With an average of just over three cocktails per venue, this year’s participation reflects strong engagement from local businesses, with 23 venues returning alongside 4 brand-new openings.
Participating venues include: Arcadia, Bar One Eighty, Bartenders Lounge, Casa Del Fuego, Codonas, College Bar, Dusk Cocktail Bar, Fierce Bar Aberdeen, Hammerman’s Restaurant & Cocktail Bar, Malmaison, Skylark, Monty’s, Ninety-Nine, No.10 Bar & Restaurant, Paramount Bar, Revolution Aberdeen, SOBR, SOUL, Six by Nico, The Braided Fig, The Craftsman Company Coffee & Ale House, The Noose & Monkey, The Old Workshop, The Spiritualist Aberdeen, Tilted Wig, Under The Hammer, Vovem Meat & Liquor.
Aberdeen Cocktail Week is designed to encourage people into the city centre, creating a clear and accessible reason to visit multiple venues over a 11-day period. One or more cocktails are priced at just £6 or less in every venue, ensuring the event remains accessible while supporting venues in a challenging trading environment.
Gregor Sey, organiser of Aberdeen Cocktail Week, said: “We’ve put a lot of work into building out the festival over the years, but the bartenders are the ones who make it what it is. The level of effort and creativity coming through this year is strong, and that’s something they should take a lot of credit for.”
Now in its fifth year, the event continues to be run independently as a commercial operation, without external funding and at no cost to participating venues. This approach helps maximise involvement across the city while supporting the wider hospitality sector.
