Aberdeen FC, alongside technical partner Macron, is proud to unveil its new 2026-27 third kit, inspired by one of Scotland's most distinctive landmarks, Craigievar Castle, as the historic castle celebrates its 400th anniversary this year.
Rising from the heart of Aberdeenshire, Craigievar Castle is recognised around the world for its striking pink façade, fairytale silhouette and rich history.
The third kit's distinctive pink and grey colour palette takes inspiration from the castle itself, celebrating a landmark that has become synonymous with Aberdeenshire on the global stage. By bringing this influence into the design, the club continues to champion the stories, places and people that make the region unique.
The shirt features a pink base which, together with the anthracite grey details, recalls the façades of the 17th-century castle. This distinctive colour choice is combined with the textile innovation of the new Eco 3D Knit – Weave, one of three jacquard fabrics developed by Macron for the new season. The reference to Craigievar Castle is made explicit through a stylised depiction of the castle itself, applied inside the triangular insert on the outer backneck.
The kit launch forms part of a wider collaboration between Aberdeen FC and the National Trust for Scotland, celebrating the region's rich heritage, culture and iconic landmarks while helping to showcase the very best of the North-east to supporters at home and abroad.
The new Aberdeen FC 2026-27 3rd kit is available now from the Pittodrie Club Shop, or online at afc.co.uk/shop.
Supporters are politely advised that sizing for the new kit may differ slightly from previous seasons. All fans are encouraged to review the latest size guide carefully and be mindful of this information before making a purchase, as changes in fit and manufacturing can affect how kits look and feel.
