Aberdeen FC is pleased to officially unveil the new home kit for the 2026-27 season.

Inspired by the city’s coat of arms and its iconic leopard motif, the kit looks ahead to the new season while celebrating the city’s heritage, expressing who we are and where we come from.

At the heart of the design lies one of the city’s most enduring emblems, the leopard.

Dating back to the 14th century, when legend states that two leopards were granted as a gift by King James I as gratitude to the people of Aberdeen for underwriting the expenses of his captivity in England, the leopard has been woven into the fabric of the city’s identity.

Appearing prominently on the coat of arms, these heraldic figures represented loyalty, strength and gratitude. They remain etched into the everyday landscape of the city, and this season’s home kit brings that symbol to the main stage.

The new home shirt retains the traditional red that has always defined the Club, enhanced by an all-over sublimated graphic inspired by leopard. The graphic is set against a base featuring subtle tone-on-tone vertical stripes that add further depth and dynamism to the shirt’s design.

At the bottom front of the shirt, a customised internal tape bears the phrase “HAPPY TO MEET, SORRY TO PART, HAPPY TO MEET AGAIN – BON ACCORD”, the historic motto of the city of Aberdeen, perfectly reflecting the sense of belonging and the strong bond between the Club, the community and the local area.

The new Aberdeen FC 2026–27 home kit is available for pre-order online at afc.co.uk/shop with deliveries and collections starting from mid to late August.
