Westhill-based EOS Europe has been acquired by fast-growing marine group Modutec as the company looks to expands its services.
Electrical specialist EOS Europe, which employs around 40 staff, will join Modutec to help expand its turnkey services across global energy and marine markets.
Headquartered in Bridge of Don, Modutec designs and delivers marine and offshore living quarters and technical buildings for harsh and demanding environments.
The acquisition will strengthen its capabilities and deepen its presence in the North-east.
Modutec said the deal would support a more integrated offering across the full lifecycle of complex offshore projects.
