Aberdeen Foyer has launched its 2025 Christmas Campaign, marking a significant milestone - the organisation’s 30th birthday year.

For three decades, the Foyer has supported young people and adults across the North-east of Scotland as they overcome challenges, build confidence, and create brighter futures.

This year’s campaign shines a light on the tough realities many people face every day - including homelessness, mental health struggles, isolation, and the impact of poverty - while celebrating the remarkable strength, resilience and determination of the individuals the Foyer works alongside.

“We wanted this campaign to reflect the truth of people’s experiences,” said Brenda Young, Head of Income and Impact. “Life can be incredibly tough for many of the young people and adults who come to us for support. But their courage, their creativity, and their ability to keep going - even on the hardest days -  is what motivates us every single day. This campaign is really about lifting people up, recognising their strengths, and reminding them that they deserve hope and opportunity.”

Created by Foyer Design, the campaign video brings this message to life, showcasing real stories and the everyday moments where support, connection and kindness make a difference.

Aberdeen Foyer

As part of the 30th year celebrations, Aberdeen Foyer is inviting the community to come together to help give the gift of hope this Christmas.  Donations to the campaign will help ensure that no young person or adult who comes through the Foyer’s doors goes without essentials, support, or a safe place to turn when they need it most.

“Aberdeen Foyer was built on the belief that everyone has skills, talents and potential”  said Brenda. “Thirty years on, that belief has never been stronger.  We’re proud of the difference we’ve made together with our community - and this Christmas, we’re asking people to stand with us again.  Every donation helps lift someone up when they need it most.”
