Two well-known Aberdeen hotels are beginning an exciting new phase as they move to independent operation, reinforcing their commitment to local partnerships, flexibility and customer service.

From 1 March, The Aberdeen Altens Hotel and The Aberdeen Dyce Hotel will both operate as fully independent hotels under local leadership, marking a significant milestone for the properties and their teams.

While the management structure changes, guests, corporate partners and event organisers can expect the same experienced team, trusted service and established hospitality offering that the hotels have become known for across the region.

Together, the two properties provide over 370 bedrooms, extensive meeting and event facilities and leisure amenities across key locations in both south Aberdeen and the Airport/Dyce area.

The move to independence allows the hotels to respond more quickly to customer needs, offering increased flexibility for corporate accommodation, meetings, events and project business supporting Aberdeen’s energy and wider business community.

Kris Manship, Owner/General Manager, said: “This marks an exciting new chapter for both hotels.  Our team has built incredibly strong relationships with clients, agencies and the local community, and becoming independent allows us to strengthen those relationships even further.

We remain the same people delivering the same high standards of service, but with greater flexibility to support our guests and partners directly.  We’re proud to continue investing in Aberdeen and look forward to welcoming both returning and new clients in the months ahead.”

The Aberdeen Altens Hotel continues to serve as a popular destination for corporate stays, leisure breaks and large-scale events in south Aberdeen, while The Aberdeen Dyce Hotel offers a refreshed hospitality experience close to P&J Live and Aberdeen International Airport, supporting business travel, training events and crew movements.

Operating independently also enables the hotels to work even more closely with local organisations, suppliers and community initiatives, something both teams see as central to their future plans.

With a combined commercial team supporting both locations, clients now benefit from greater choice, flexibility and a streamlined approach to booking accommodation, meetings and events across Aberdeen.
