Marius Coste, Group Manager for Elior at Work, marked Week 47 of his 82-week “Miles of Smiles” initiative at Aberdeen Parkrun, promoting mental health awareness and community wellbeing.
The initiative involves weekly participation in community events across Scotland, encouraging inclusion, regular activity and open discussion around mental health.
As part of the Aberdeen event, a simple message - “Don’t let your struggle become your identity” - was used to highlight the importance of recognising and supporting individuals facing unseen challenges.
To date, the initiative has covered more than 2,900 kilometres and raised over £10,000 for charities including SAMH and CLAN Cancer Support.
With 35 weeks remaining, the initiative continues to demonstrate how sustained individual commitment can contribute to wider wellbeing outcomes within communities and the workplace.
