A growing series of Netwalking events organised by ITWORX UK will continue in May, with the next session taking place at Newburgh Golf Club.

Scheduled for Thursday, May 28, 2026 (07:30 AM), the event will bring together local professionals for an informal networking session, combining a group walk with open conversation in a relaxed outdoor setting.

The Netwalking format has gained traction across Aberdeen and the wider North East, offering an alternative to traditional networking by removing formal structures and encouraging more natural interaction between attendees.

Previous events at locations including Duthie Park, Crathes Castle and Aberdeen Beach have attracted a steadily increasing number of businesses, reflecting demand for more accessible and engaging ways to build professional relationships.

This session will also include a guest appearance from the Remiges V team, who are preparing to take part in the World’s Toughest Row in December 2026. The endurance race will see teams row more than 3,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean from La Gomera in the Canary Islands to Antigua.

Attendees will have the opportunity to view the team’s ocean rowing boat and hear directly from crew members about the scale of the challenge, which involves continuous rowing in extreme conditions over several weeks.

Following the walk, attendees will return to Newburgh Golf Club for informal refreshments and further networking.

The event is free to attend and open to businesses of all sizes.
