Aberdeen Performing Arts has appointed Angie McKenna as its new Director of People, Culture and Organisational Development, completing a strengthened executive leadership team designed to support the charitable organisation's future growth.
Angie will join APA in October, and will lead the organisation's people strategy, organisational development, learning, wellbeing and organisational culture.
The appointment completes an executive leadership structure built around three strategic areas: Creative, Finance and Commercial, and People, Culture and Organisational Development.
Angie brings more than 16 years' experience leading people, culture and organisational development across a range of industries, organisations and geographies, along with a belief that when people are supported to be their best, they can achieve incredible things.
As part of this development, Chief Executive Sharon Burgess will become CEO / Creative Director, reflecting responsibility for both organisational leadership and creative direction.
