The financial chief of Aberdeen Performing Arts (APA) is confident the charity will "weather the storm" after a loss-making year in 2022/23.
Income improved to £13.1m from £10.1m, however losses sharply rose too, totalling £13.4m. Overall, the figures produce a £360,000 deficit.
More than 700 performances took place across His Majesty's Theatre (HMT), the Music Hall and the Lemon Tree throughout the financial year, while renovation works worth £750,000 at (HMT) were completed.
More than 350,000 people attended shows across APA's venues, but finance and commercial director Matt Godfrey says that remains below pre-pandemic levels.
"It’s positive in the respect we’ve reopened our doors and seeing people return to our venues. However, we are not seeing that at the same level as we would’ve pre pandemic.
"There’s still a bit of growth in there but it’s positive from the respect we are seeing people want to come back and engage with us and visit our venues which is what we are after."
