Aberdeen-born Bradley Boyd, online fitness coach and personal trainer, has launched a motivational podcast to help others achieve their fitness goals after turning his own life around.
28-year-old Bradley from Inverurie shares his fat loss journey and gives an honest account of when he was at his lowest point, overeating and drinking, which led to a staggering weight gain of 50kg. He talks about his inspiration and how he turned his own life around. He also gives some practical hints and tips on how to achieve your own goals.
The ‘Bradley Boyd Fitter for Life’ podcast is supported by local creative marketing agency Mearns & Gill. It was recorded in their city centre media studio on Carden Place and produced by Pete McIntosh, who has a background in radio broadcasting and the creative industry.
The podcast launched on Monday 26th Feb and is the first in a series of 5, with a new episode released each week. In episode 1, titled Unveiling My Fat Loss Journey, Bradley shares his journey of battling poor mental health and breaking free from destructive habits to embark on a transformative awakening. He recounts his struggles while travelling, which led to a huge weight gain.
Bradley Boyd, personal trainer and podcast creator says, “It’s been a long-term goal to start a podcast and to help others achieve their fitness goals. I know the difference it has made to my life, both physically and in terms of my mental health, so if I can share that with others and give advice on how to maintain that I am happy. By working with Pete and the team at Mearns & Gill I’ve been able to achieve this goal and create something really special which I am proud of and that I feel will benefit others. I am thankful for their support.”
Bradley continues, “Amidst a disheartening work routine, I found inspiration in a pivotal moment, leading me to embrace fitness and break free from bad habits. Listeners of the podcast will hear the importance of confronting uncomfortable truths to pave the way for lasting change. I invite listeners to reflect on their journeys and confront the root causes of their physical state, guiding them toward a future driven by vision and resilience.”
Talking of his involvement in the new podcast series Pete McIntosh, Business Development Manager at Mearns & Gill and podcast producer, says, “Podcasting is a new offering here at Mearns and Gill and it’s something that I’m extremely passionate about. Bradley was great to work with and we were delighted to support him, I enjoyed spending time with him in the M&G podcast room, recording and directing the sessions while also picking up some health and fitness tips along the way. It’s an inspirational listen!”
