Aberdeen print specialist XIC has entered a new chapter after long-serving directors Murray Alexander and Jason Moir took full ownership of the company.

The pair, who have both spent more than 30 years with XIC, have acquired the remaining shares from founder Bill Fawcett, securing full ownership of the Altens-based business.

They had previously acquired a 75% stake in the company through a management buyout in 2018, with Mr Fawcett retaining the remaining 25%.

Established in 1986 as Xpress Print, XIC operates from a 10,000 sq ft facility and records annual turnover of £1.5million. The company now produces around 5,000 orders each year for clients across a variety of sectors.

Murray Alexander said the decision to complete the buyout was a natural next step for the business.
