Aberdeen Science Centre is inviting adults to take part in Brain Food – The Science of Nutrition and Mental Wellbeing, a free interactive workshop designed to help people understand how everyday food choices can influence mood, energy, and overall mental health.

The relaxed, one-hour session on Thursday, November 27, offers practical, science-backed guidance on navigating the effects of sugar, caffeine and processed foods on focus, emotional balance and complex needs. Participants will also learn how to make more informed choices at the supermarket by understanding food labels and identifying healthier alternatives.

Guests are welcome to arrive from 5:30pm to enjoy complimentary refreshments and explore the centre before the workshop begins at 6:00pm. The session aims to leave attendees feeling informed, empowered, and supported in making small, achievable changes for better wellbeing.

Brain Food – The Science of Nutrition and Mental Wellbeing is free to attend, but advance booking is essential due to limited spaces.
