The University of Aberdeen and Robert Gordon University will face each other in Aberdeen’s first university table tennis varsity match on Wednesday November 28.
The Aberdeen Ping Pong Clash will be held at SpinLab, the city’s first dedicated table tennis facility, on South College Street. The winning university takes home a championship belt, and ticket sales raise funds for both institutions’ table tennis clubs.
Doors open at 6pm, with the first serve at 6.30pm and the belt presentation at 8pm. The event carries a formal dress code and will be followed by an evening in the city to celebrate.
