Aberdeen’s economy to be given a boost with the city’s newest business hub, Citibase Aberdeen, hosted an open day for small businesses looking to grow

Having recently just opened its doors, a new fully serviced business centre in the heart of Aberdeen’s West End is held an open day on Friday 3rd February to unveil its brand-new space.

Located in a listed 1870’s detached granite villa on the prestigious Queens Road, Citibase Aberdeen threw open its doors between 9am – 5pm with an official ribbon cutting ceremony with special guest Kevin Stewart, MSP for Aberdeen Central at noon. Guests were piped in before receiving a tour of this most impressive business centre.

The historic Jacobean style villa has been beautifully restored retaining many magnificent original features throughout. Whilst the stunning, award winning modern addition provides a superb mix of the flexible contract terms in a range of sizes, all fully furnished, from as little as one person upwards. Services include Citibase’s unique Concierge reception and administrative services, superfast internet and telecoms packages, meeting rooms, personalised call answering, 24/7 access, parking for cars and bike and even a smart shower and changing room.

Operations manager Ben Wightman said: “We very much enjoyed showing new start-ups, entrepreneurs and small businesses why we are the ideal place to call home. Whatever size or stage of development, by letting Citibase take care of all their office needs old and the new. Fully refurbished space is available to move in to straight away, so local businesses can focus on what’s really important – running and growing their business whilst boosting the local economy and employment.”
