International law firm Addleshaw Goddard has continued to grow in Aberdeen with the recruitment of two new lawyers in the city.
Emily Byrne has joined the firm as an Associate in the Employment team, while Christy Young has joined as an Associate in the firm’s Commercial team. The new recruits were previously at Stronachs and Brodies respectively.
Emily is the latest addition to the firm’s Aberdeen Employment law practice which has grown in recent years with the addition of Partner Anya Duncan and Associate Alanah Mills. That team is part of a strong Scottish, UK and international practice.
Anya Duncan said: “We’re delighted to welcome Emily to the team. As a highly capable and well‑regarded lawyer, she brings valuable experience that will further strengthen our offering in the northeast and across Scotland. Having recognised specialists in the Aberdeen market is incredibly important especially given the significant changes in employment law that will be implemented in the near future. Emily’s arrival enhances what is already a very strong employment law team.”
