AG Consultancy and Apps (AG) has secured a milestone five-year contract with Spirit Energy to provide the North Sea operator with SAP solutions to enhance its operational efficiency and business performance.
Won through a competitive tender process, AG will continue to support Spirit Energy with SAP Application Management Services (AMS), having first secured the contract for this service in 2022, and SAP Business Support Services.
The 5-year AMS contract, with options for three one-year extensions, solidifies a long-standing partnership and positions AG as the go-to partner for Spirit Energy’s end-to-end digital transformation journey. The contract follows AG’s successful delivery of a critical project in 2025: the four-month migration of Spirit Energy’s infrastructure from on-premises S/4HANA to SAP Cloud ERP Private Edition.
AG specialises in asset-intensive industries and operates across the energy spectrum. The SAP solutions specialist, which has offices in the UK, in Aberdeen and London, the Netherlands and the UAE, with further support from India. AG will continue to provide the energy company with AMS, Work Management Business Support, Process Support services, and a strategic roadmap to optimise asset operations.

- Application Managed Services (AMS): Providing 24/7 technical and functional support covering SAP FI, CO, JVA, PS, MM, IM, WM, RLM, PM, SSAM, QM, Security, ABAP, Embedded Fiori, Embedded GRC, BW, PO, BTP/ Build, SAC, CALM and BASIS
- Application Design, Development, and Advisory (ADA/AD): Tailoring SAP solutions to meet evolving business needs.
- SAP Business Support Services: Key workstreams include maintenance engineering alignment, master data management, and the delivery of advanced data analytics via Power BI.
- Strategic Roadmaps: Guiding the client's future technology investments and continuous improvement.
AG’s fixed-price model for SAP offers clients cost certainty, reduced risk and stronger alignment with business outcomes.
The latest contract builds on a recent project between the two organisations in which AG led the scoping, planning and delivery of Spirit’s RISE with SAP migration to transfer its data to the cloud in just four months, enabling long-term benefits from AI and automation.
Looking ahead, AG and Spirit Energy will co-author a long-term transformation roadmap designed to turn technological investment into a competitive advantage. This outcome-driven strategy and roadmap will deliver measurable value by leveraging advanced analytics (SAC) and modern user experiences (Fiori) to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency. The collaboration also explores the future potential of Generative AI, including SAP’s AI assistant Joule, to create a more dynamic and sustainable landscape.
