Chambers of Commerce sit at the heart of local business communities across the UK and the world, bringing together and supporting thousands of companies of every size and from every sector to succeed.

Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber is one of the most vibrant and influential in the UK and we are here for two simple reasons. To support businesses to be better today while helping create the economic conditions to enable the future success of our region.

Our services allow our members to get ahead in business in a range of ways. From raising awareness to creating new business opportunities. From upskilling staff through our training programmes to helping exporters and importers to move their goods and identify new markets. From keeping their finger on the pulse of the business news they need to know to networking at our events programme. From the management information provided by our research team to saving money on business services. And much more.

The Chamber is also the voice of business, at the front line of providing support to businesses to make the best decisions for themselves and their people. Our direct line into Government at all levels has led to some significant ‘wins’ reflecting what our business communities needed.

It’s an exciting time at Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce - we’re an organisation with refreshed drive and purpose to create the connections the help the North-east economy thrive. We are passionate about this region, its business community and are looking for people who share these values to join our cause as non-executive Board directors.

We are specifically interested in candidates who will complement the specialist skills and gender balance we already have to ensure a diverse and inclusive board reflecting the communities we serve.
