Subsea infrastructure integrity management software company Elementz and FutureOn, developer of the FieldTwin digital twin platform, have announced a co-creation agreement to connect their complementary capabilities in the operational phase of the subsea lifecycle.
The Solution Service Agreement connects FutureOn’s digital twin for subsea operations, FieldTwin Operate with Elementz's subsea inspection and integrity platform. FieldTwin Operate extends the FieldTwin digital thread into day-to-day subsea operations anchoring field data to the physical asset and bringing together engineering models, GIS data, documentation and inspection media via a single, multi-dimensional environment. Elementz provides the integrity management layer that sits within inspection workflows, compliance logic, anomaly tracking, and assisted analysis that determines how subsea assets are inspected, maintained, prioritised, and reported against regulatory requirements.
Whilst serving different operational needs, the two companies share a significant common customer base across the global subsea sector, and both recognise that operators choose twin platforms at an organisational level based on asset type, geography, and corporate strategy. Connecting the two will enable engineers to access integrity information directly on the asset in the digital twin, reducing the need to move between multiple systems when planning inspections and maintenance activities. Elementz is built to operate across that landscape, connecting its integrity platform to any chosen digital twin environment operator, without requiring them to change.
This agreement deepens that connectivity where FutureOn's FieldTwin Operate is the platform of choice, while Elementz continues to build the same quality of integration across the broader twin ecosystem.
Building on an existing collaboration to support a shared North Sea operator, the alliance also paves the way into the operational integrity and digital twin challenges of subsea infrastructure beyond oil and gas including offshore wind, subsea power cables, and telecoms networks.
Development of the integration is underway, with initial functionality focusing on anomaly, planned inspection and work order data for SURF assets. Pipeline integrity data is planned for future development.
