During Mental Health Awareness Week, AISUS came together to build awareness, spark conversation and raise money for local charity Mental Health Aberdeen.

The charity is dedicated to delivering services and promoting mental wellbeing to people affected by challenges related to mental health within the North-east of Scotland.

Throughout the week AISUS introduced a range of materials and activities. One of these was a card game played during lunch breaks, where the staff had the opportunity to ask thoughtful questions such as, “what do you do after a long day to unwind?”. Generating open and meaningful conversations which may not have been approached on a day-to-day basis within the office.

To round off the week, AISUS came together for a community lunch, each bringing something tasty to share while talking all things mental health. The team were lucky enough to be joined by Libby and Hannah from Mental Health Aberdeen, who spoke to them about the charity’s important work and how everyone can play a part in supporting the people around them. The team finished the week with a light-hearted quiz to get everyone together for some fun and share the takeaways and successes of the week.

At AISUS community is important, to be able to support the team both professionally and personally. AISUS is delighted to have raised money for Mental Health Aberdeen and would encourage anyone in need to utilise its amazing services.
