Annie Kenyon Architects (ak|a) was delighted to attend the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT) AT Awards 2026 in London last week, having been shortlisted as a finalist in the Small Project of the Year category for their recent residential project at Johnshaven.

The AT Awards are among the leading accolades in the field of Architectural Technology, celebrating outstanding achievement, innovation and excellence. For more than 40 years, the Institute has recognised the most talented Chartered Architectural Technologists and innovative projects across the UK and beyond.

For ak|a, reaching the finalist stage represents a significant achievement and is particularly special following Ross Imray’s achievement of Chartered status earlier this year after considerable dedication and hard work.

Ross said: “We are delighted to be included alongside an impressive and varied range of projects throughout the UK. Great to see a small but carefully considered residential design recognised.”

Although the Johnshaven project didn’t take home the award, ak|a would like to extend their congratulations to all the finalists and winners and to CIAT for another fantastic celebration of Architectural Technology.
