Families planning ahead for the October school holidays can now book places at Albyn School’s Holiday Club, with a packed programme of activities planned for children from October 12–23.
The Holiday Club is open to all children aged 5-12 years old, not just pupils at Albyn School, giving families across the local community the opportunity to try the club, whether they have attended before or are joining for the first time.
With flexibility in mind, families can book individual or multiple days, depending on what works for them. There is no minimum number of days to book, making it an option for families who need childcare around their existing plans rather than requiring a full-week commitment. Places cost £60 per day, and the club also accepts childcare vouchers giving families another convenient way to pay.
This October’s programme will feature two different themes across the fortnight.
The first week will focus on nature and the outdoors, with children getting creative and hands-on as they make bird feeders, build bug hotels and create hedgehog shelters. The week will also include a trip to Cromwell Park, giving children the chance to explore and enjoy the outdoors.
Week two will bring a Halloween theme, with a programme of Halloween-inspired activities, games and parties planned to keep children entertained throughout the week.
The Holiday Club is run by experienced, fully trained classroom assistants from Albyn School. Working with children every day, the team understands how to create a safe, engaging and inclusive environment where children can enjoy themselves, try new activities and feel comfortable throughout their time at the club.
For families who have not previously used the Holiday Club, October could be a great opportunity to give it a try, while existing families can once again enjoy a varied programme of activities during the school break.
