Amplus Energy, a leading Aberdeen based energy services company, has renewed its successful partnership with the Dons as official supporter of the AFC Youth Academy.
The partnership continues to build upon over a decade of support from Amplus Energy, further strengthening their long-standing commitment to the club, particularly fostering young talent through the Youth Academy.
A cornerstone of this collaboration remains the Amplus Energy Talent of the Month award which plays a vital role in recognising and encouraging the hard work, performance and development of the club’s promising young players, both on and off the pitch.
Beyond their support of youth development, Amplus Energy will also continue its popular sponsorship of Angus the Bull, maintaining its position as one of the mascots longest running supporters and reinforcing their connection with the wider Dons family and local community.
Steve Gardyne, managing director at Amplus Energy, said: “We’re proud to extend our support for Aberdeen FC’s Youth Academy for another two years.
“It’s been fantastic to watch the progress of so many young players over the years, and we’re looking forward to seeing how the next group develops. Supporting local talent has always been important to us, and we’re pleased to continue playing a small part in helping the club nurture the next generation, on and off the pitch.
“We’re also delighted to keep backing Angus the Bull, who remains a big part of the matchday experience. Aberdeen FC is more than just a club to us, it’s part of our community, and we’re honoured to keep playing a role in its future.”
“We’re delighted to once again secure the backing of Amplus Energy”, said Robbie Hedderman, Commercial Director at Aberdeen FC.
“We both share a commitment to excellence, development and community engagement and their continued dedication to our Youth Academy is invaluable.
“It is fantastic to see a local company so keen to recognise and invest in young talent and partnerships such as this are crucial in providing our players with the best possible platform to showcase their skills and progress through the club.”
