The University of Aberdeen Business School and Development Trust are delighted to announce the Watt Hepburn Lecture 2021 will take place during Global Entrepreneurship Week on Wednesday, November 10.

The Watt Hepburn Lecture series was established by a generous donation from the late Ann Sants in memory of her father, Aberdeen businessman, William Watt Hepburn. Each year, the University holds a Watt Hepburn Lecture on the theme of entrepreneurship.

On the November 10, the University of Aberdeen invite guests, alumni and students to join them on campus to hear from Alice Thompson, co-founder of Social Bite, a charity with the mission to end homelessness in Scotland.

Alice will deliver a guest lecture on The Journey of Creating Social Bite, highlighting how a couple of 20-year-olds built a credible social enterprise complete with A-list visitors.

Guests are invited to King’s College Conference Centre for 4.30pm to network before the live session starts at 5.00pm, guests are invited to join us for more networking and canapés from 6.00-7.00pm.

The safety of guests, students and staff remains paramount. CV19 safety measures will be in place for the event.
