Apache Corporation, a subsidiary of APA Corporation (Nasdaq: APA), today announced the launch of the Apache Tree Grant Programme in Scotland for the 2023-2024 planting season.

Initially launched in the United States, the Apache Tree Grant Programme is an award-winning initiative focused on large-scale conservation, protection of habitats for wildlife and native species, as well as the restoration and enhancement of public greenspaces. Since 2005, Apache has donated more than five million trees to over 1,000 nonprofit organisations and government agencies across the company’s U.S. operating areas.

“We are thrilled to bring the success of the Apache Tree Grant Programme to Scotland, expanding the impact of the programme to the U.K.,” said Jillian Owen, U.K. Country Manager. “This initiative embodies Apache’s spirit of community partnership and commitment to environmental stewardship. By extending its reach to the U.K., we hope to leave a legacy for current and future generations by enhancing green spaces and fostering stronger bonds between people and their environment, one tree at a time.”

The Apache Tree Grant Programme is open to Scottish nonprofit organisations and government agencies. Recipients must agree to receive all awarded trees in a single delivery and are required to provide ongoing care and maintenance of the trees. Grant awards will be announced in December 2023, and all trees must be received and planted or distributed no later than 31 May 2024.
