Aqura Systems, an Aberdeen-based technology company developing an autonomous AI-driven microorganism identification system, has been named the winner of the prestigious Regional EDGE Winner of Winners (WOW) Award.
Supported by the Royal Bank of Scotland, the accolade brings an additional £50,000 in funding after Aqura competed against three fellow regional champions from across Scotland.
This latest award brings Aqura Systems’ total Scottish EDGE funding to £100,000. The company’s innovative solution is designed to generate alerts and predictive insights for toxic algal blooms, supporting the fish and shellfish farming industries.
