Arch 35 Marketing, a growing agency serving Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, has successfully completed its first student placement through Robert Gordon University’s Connect to Business programme.

Third-year management student Sol Tadini joined the business in March 2025 and has now concluded a 150-hour placement with the company.

The Connect to Grow initiative aims to match local businesses with students seeking hands-on experience in real-world settings. During her time with Arch 35 Marketing, Sol contributed to various digital marketing and content creation projects, supporting the agency’s efforts to boost both its own and its clients’ visibility across social media platforms.

Based in the arches at Aberdeen, Arch 35 supports businesses of all sizes with creative marketing solutions. The placement represents the agency’s ongoing commitment to developing emerging talent and investing in the region’s future workforce.

Reflecting on the experience, Arch 35 Director Darren Cadger said: “Sol’s enthusiasm and willingness to learn made a real impact during her time with us. It’s been rewarding to see her grow in confidence and contribute meaningfully to our projects. We’re passionate about helping the next generation of professionals gain the experience they need to succeed.”

Sol Tadini had the following to say about her time with Arch 35 Marketing: “I had an invaluable opportunity as a student presented to me by my university to gain real-life work experience in marketing and graphic design, which I’m very passionate about and will pursue in my future studies.

"During my placement at Arch 35 Marketing, I was able to develop my skills, experiment with different activities, had the chance to design several graphics for Arch 35’s clients, participated in the company’s projects, and received constructive, positive feedback.

"Overall, I believe this experience was a priceless asset for my professional development and would recommend it to other fellow students.”

This milestone highlights Arch 35’s role not only as an industry partner with Robert Gordon University, to businesses, but also as a supporter of local career development.
