Aberdeen-based marketing agency Arch 35 Marketing has launched the social media presence for FitSmile, a new local social enterprise created to make oral health information clearer, more practical and easier to access.

Founded by registered dental hygienist Victoria Mya, FitSmile aims to share straightforward guidance on gum health, oral wellness, healthy daily routines and the wider connection between oral health, confidence and overall wellbeing.

Arch 35 Marketing has supported the setup and launch of FitSmile’s social media channels, helping to introduce the organisation, communicate its purpose and establish a platform for sharing future projects and community initiatives.

The launch will also build awareness of the Big Tooth Challenge, an upcoming project that will use a large tooth sculpture to start conversations about gum health in public spaces across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.

The initiative is designed to take oral health education beyond traditional clinical settings, making information more visible and approachable while encouraging people to recognise the early signs of gum problems and take simple preventative steps.

FitSmile recently received early recognition after being named a winner in the British Society of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry’s Gum Health Day competition. Its winning entry focused on the Big Tooth Challenge and the organisation’s community-led approach to oral health education.

Darren Cadger, managing director and co-founder of Arch 35 Marketing, said: “FitSmile has a clear purpose and a strong community focus, so it was important that its social media launch explained the idea in a simple and approachable way.

“Oral health information can often feel quite clinical or difficult to understand. FitSmile is aiming to change that, and Arch 35 is pleased to support Victoria as she begins building awareness and introducing the project to communities across the North-east.”

Victoria Mya, founder of FitSmile, said: “FitSmile has been developed to make mouth health guidance feel more accessible and relevant to everyday life.

“This launch is only the beginning. The social media channels will allow FitSmile to introduce the thinking behind the project, share practical information and provide updates on the Big Tooth Challenge as it develops.”

FitSmile is also welcoming conversations with businesses, sponsors, community groups and organisations interested in supporting the project.
