Aberdeen marketing agency Arch 35 Marketing was invited to speak at the Aberdeen Business and Professional Club last Thursday, with managing director and co-founder Darren Cadger delivering a presentation on LinkedIn at The Marcliffe Hotel and Spa.

The session focused on how businesses can use LinkedIn more effectively, with practical advice on building visibility, improving consistency, and using the platform in a way that supports meaningful business relationships.

Darren was invited to speak by Ken Reid, ITWORX UK Business Development Manager and ABPC Council Member, giving Arch 35 Marketing the opportunity to present to one of Aberdeen’s long-standing and highly regarded business groups. Founded in 1932, the Aberdeen Business and Professional Club has remained a respected and enduring presence within Aberdeen’s professional community for over nine decades. The Club brings together established business leaders, senior professionals, academics, and medical specialists within a private environment defined by conversation, perspective, and mutual respect

The presentation covered the role LinkedIn can play for business owners, senior professionals and growing companies, particularly when used as part of a wider marketing strategy rather than as a standalone posting platform.

Arch 35 Marketing, which is based in Aberdeen, works with businesses across the North-east on social media, SEO and digital strategy. The agency has continued to build its profile locally through client work, networking, university engagement and business community events.

Darren Cadger, managing director and co-founder of Arch 35 Marketing, said: “It was a real honour to be invited to speak at the Aberdeen Business and Professional Club.

“Presenting at The Marcliffe to such an experienced and respected group of businesspeople was a brilliant opportunity, and I’m very grateful to Ken Reid for the invitation.

“LinkedIn is a platform many businesses know they should be using, but it can often feel difficult to know what to say or how to use it properly. The aim of the session was to make it more practical and show how consistency, clarity and a more human approach can make a real difference.”

He added: “As a young Aberdeen marketing agency, opportunities like this mean a lot. It was a privilege to contribute to the conversation and spend time with people who have helped shape the local business community.”
