Aberdeen Renewable Energy Group (AREG) is calling for 200-word abstract submissions for its 2025 SME Technology Showcase, taking place in October 2025.

This showcase will highlight the transformative role of innovative technology in driving the evolution of the renewable energy industry and advancing net-zero ambitions. The current deadline for submissions is Friday, June 13, 2025. 

The 2025 SME Technology Showcase will take place on October 7, 2025, following a successful showcase in 2024 which featured six speakers and 15 exhibitors. This year’s showcase welcomes submissions on topics including but not limited to:

  • AI-powered digital solutions for the energy sector
  • Innovative applications in offshore wind operation and maintenance
  • Technology supporting green hydrogen production and use
  • Advanced systems for power grids and energy connectivity
  • Emerging low-carbon and net-zero enabling technologies

The 2025 SME Technology Showcase will highlight the latest solutions to problems across the renewable energy industry, covering digital and infrastructural solutions. The showcase aims to shine a light on the crucial role and perspective of SMEs in the industry and offers a unique platform for visibility, bringing attention to important innovations, championing collaboration, adoption and overall growth.
