Jean Morrison, AREG Chair, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Liz to AREG.

"Liz brings extensive and valuable energy industry experience, and a clear understanding of the challenges and needs of our members.

"The energy sector is at an interesting juncture, and I am confident Liz will support our members through an extensive range of assistance and connect the supply chain with developers and project owners so they can maximise the commercial potential of their technologies, skills and innovation.

"As a board we look forward to supporting Liz as we steer the organisation forward to meet the challenges of the UK and Scottish Government Net Zero targets and work with all our members in the delivery of a Just Transition.”
