Aberdeen-based Argosy Control Engineering Ltd (Argosy) has been confirmed as the main sponsor of Inverurie Loco Works F.C. (Inverurie Locos) for the next three seasons, marking an exciting new chapter in the long-standing relationship between the two organisations.
Argosy is a proud supporter of the Highland League side, and a well-known name within the Inverurie Locos community, having sponsored the team’s kit since 2014. The new sponsorship deal encompasses kit and stadium branding, in addition to supporting many other key elements within the club. Argosy will also sponsor the prestigious Inverurie Locos annual Business Lunch, which takes place at the Marcliffe Hotel in November.

Commenting on the announcement, Chris Daley, co-owner and Managing Director of Argosy Control Engineering said: “Growing up in Inverurie, I’ve always had a passion for football and the Locos in particular. It’s been an absolute pleasure to support several Inverurie football clubs, including the Locos, for the past 12 years. Myself and the wider Argosy team are thrilled to strengthen that long-standing relationship by becoming their main sponsor. Given that our ethos and core values are closely aligned, it’s a proud moment for us to see our logo displayed on the front of the Locos players’ jerseys. We wish the team every success and look forward to working in partnership with them over the coming seasons.”
Mike Macaulay, Chairman, Inverurie Locos added: “Our aim is to build and nurture a successful and sustainable community-focused football club, competing at the highest level of the game. Working closely with Argosy for the past 12 years, we have seen first-hand how deeply they share those values and are committed to investing in the club’s success. The partnership will provide valuable commercial support as the club continues to invest in its first team, youth development and wider community activities. Inverurie Locos has a proud history and an exciting future, and we are looking forward to working with Argosy to help us achieve our ambitious goals.”
