On November 15, 2023, Augean reached a significant milestone of 18 years without a Lost Time Incident (LTI) offshore. This is a direct result of the strong safety culture within Augean and the encouragement provided by its leadership team to our employees promoting safety interactions. With a focus on safety first, its multi-skilled offshore personnel are driven to be proactive and are passionate about health and safety while working.
Peter Marioni, Chief Operating Officer for Augean North East Scotland said ‘Hitting this milestone is a testament to the ethics and integrity of our people. Our teams face conditions every day which require them to continuously challenge their thought process to maintain a safe working environment. I would like to take this opportunity to thank and congratulate everyone who has contributed.’
Mags Adam, HSEQ Manager added ‘Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our employees is one of Augean’s biggest priorities and at the forefront of how we operate our business. We will continue to raise standards in our approach to health and safety management which is demonstrated by our ISO 45001 certification’.
Cross trained and competent, our offshore personnel can support all waste management activities including drilling and well abandonment waste management, filtration, pit/tank cleaning, industrial services and radiation protection services."
