Aberdeen-based audiovisual and creative technology specialist AV One has raised £6,270.50 for local charity Charlie House following its second annual Charity Golf Day.
Held at Kemnay Golf Club on Friday 12 June, the event brought together clients, partners, suppliers and friends of the business for a day of golf, networking and fundraising, all in support of the North East charity.
AV One Managing Director Graeme McGuire said, "Our Charity Golf Day has quickly become one of the highlights of the year for the team. It’s a fantastic opportunity to bring together our clients, partners and the wider business community, while raising money for a charity that makes such a difference to families across the North East.
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who supported the event, whether that was by playing, sponsoring a hole, donating prizes, buying raffle tickets or helping behind the scenes. The generosity shown throughout the day was outstanding."
This year's event also showcased AV One's recently launched animation services, with each hole sponsor receiving a bespoke golf-themed animation created by the company's creative team. The animations were displayed throughout the event and provided sponsors with digital content they could continue to use after the day.
Business Development Manager Grant Maclean added, "The support we received from local businesses was fantastic. What makes the event special is seeing so many people come together for a great cause while enjoying a bit of friendly competition along the way. The addition of the sponsor animations was something new for this year and it was great to be able to give our sponsors something unique that reflected the creative capabilities now available through AV One."
Charlie House supports babies, children and young people with complex disabilities and life-limiting conditions across the North East of Scotland. Through practical, emotional and social support, the charity helps families navigate the challenges they face and create lasting memories together.
