Codonas has announced that ‘Backyard’ is returning to Aberdeen Beach for Summer 2024.
Backyard is a gathering of Aberdeen’s hottest food vendors in a unique outdoor market style environment. This is one is for the foodies not to miss!
Carrying on from the wildly successfully Backyard Beach Collective in 2021, Backyard continues the legacy with fresh offerings from Backyard veterans; ‘Smoke & Soul’, Haydn’s Woodfired Pizza
and ‘Dirty Dogs’ plus Rosemount favourites ‘Hot Sushi’, ‘Tucán’
& ‘The Bagel Society’, and newcomers ‘We 💕 Crumble’ & ‘The Hot Chip’.
Drink offerings are in collaboration with Fierce Beer, cocktails curated by Ten Dollar Shake and spirits supplied by House of Botanicals to make sure everyone’s’ whistles are wet whilst they chow down on some of the most amazing street food Aberdeen has to offer.

This collaboration brings together the best of both worlds - our mouthwatering bagels, amazing drinks in a fantastic fun location – we are promising an unforgettable summer season of food and drinks .

Robert Fenton, owner of Haydn’s Woodfired Pizza said: “We are looking forward to working at the Backyard again this summer. We had an amazing time when it was last held and felt it was a real boost for the beach area.
"With the addition of the big screen for the culmination of the Euros we expect it to be even more popular with people in and around Aberdeen."
Following on from the success of ‘The Beach Fan Zone’ screening the Euros matches at Queens Links, Backyard continues the summer of football by showing the remaining matches on their 200 square foot LED screen whilst providing the best in food and drinks at the beach.
Backyard will be running every weekend from Friday, June 28 – Sunday, August 25 plus extra midweek days/evenings for the Euros matches.
