On Thursday 30th October, Northwood will be hosting a ‘Bake and Brew’ sale in its Rosemount office in support of local cancer support service Maggie’s.
The event will be a fantastic (and tasty!) way to give back to the service, which has been a big support to a team member who received a cancer diagnosis earlier this year.
As well as an array of delicious cakes and baked goods, including gluten free and vegan options, there will be tea, coffee and hot chocolate available for takeaway. There will also be doggy treat bags for sale to help raise some extra funds.
Northwood Branch Manager Juliet Livingstone explained: “The Bake and Brew is an annual event organised by Maggie’s to raise much needed funds to support its vital services. One of our colleagues was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year, and Maggie’s has been a huge support to her, so it’s the perfect way for us to give back.
“We are hoping that our contractors, friends and families of colleagues and anyone visiting the Rosemount area will pop in and buy something to take away. We will be taking cash, or there will be a QR/donation page set up by Maggie’s which they can use. All support will be greatly appreciated.”
Maggie’s Aberdeen is located on the hospital campus at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary on Westburn Road and offers a warm and caring environment that provides support, information and practical advice to people dealing with a cancer diagnosis.
The Bake and Brew sale will start at 10.30am in Northwood’s office at 207-211 Rosemount Place, Aberdeen.
