Bank of Scotland has appointed David McInally as area director for the North of Scotland, reinforcing its commitment to supporting businesses across the region.
David, who stepped into the role in June, will lead a team of experienced Relationship Managers supporting businesses in the North from Inverness to Aberdeen across key sectors including tourism, manufacturing and food and drink. His focus will be on helping businesses navigate current economic challenges, grow sustainably and seize new opportunities.
Originally from Dunfermline, David brings more than two decades of experience to the role. Having joined Bank of Scotland at 17, he has since held a variety of positions, most recently as the Halifax Community Bank Regional Director for North of England & Northern Ireland where he oversaw a team of nearly 900 colleagues.
His appointment reinforces Bank of Scotland’s focus on building strong, lasting relationships and providing more than just financial services - combining tailored guidance, local knowledge and sector expertise to help firms succeed.
