The Archie Foundation have been fortunate to receive donations of pre-loved toys from kind donors seeking to support the charity. Unfortunately only new toys can be distributed to children in the many hospitals that Archie support so staff have instead set up a one-off toy sale to sell these items to raise much needed funds for the charity. The sale will will take place between 11am and 4pm on Saturday, October 23 at Midstocket Church in Aberdeen.
In addition to pre-loved and nearly new toys there will be bric-a-brac, DVDs, books, a tombola, raffles and lots of charity merchandise from mugs and water bottle to pens and of course, in keeping with the pre-festive theme, Christmas cards.
“This is a great opportunity to show your green credentials by buying pre-loved items while at the same time supporting a local charity,” says chief executive of The Archie Foundation, Paula Cormack.
“There will be some real bargains to be had, including things like games consoles! We would really love to see these items find a new home and of course all monies raised on the day will help fund Archie’s vital support for local sick or bereaved children.”
