Supporters of Aberdeen's iconic Belmont Cinema are being invited to don their finest red-carpet attire for a fundraising ceilidh aimed at helping restore the much-loved venue.
The Belmont Fundraising Ceilidh & Party Night will take place at the Sandman Signature Aberdeen Hotel & Spa on November 21, bringing together film lovers, local businesses and the wider community for an Oscars-themed evening of entertainment.
Guests will be welcomed with a drink before enjoying live ceilidh music, a DJ-led party, a film quiz, raffle, silent auction and best-dressed competition. A hot supper is included, with all proceeds supporting the refurbishment of the Belmont Cinema.
Organisers are also encouraging businesses to book tables of 10 as Christmas nights out, with a corporate package offering the chance to sponsor a named seat in the refurbished cinema alongside the event booking.
The fundraising campaign forms part of wider efforts to secure the long-term future of the Belmont, one of Aberdeen's best-known independent cinemas, following its closure and subsequent community-led rescue.
The event begins at 7.30pm, with tickets now available through Eventbrite.
