After celebrating its tenth year in business in 2025, Bethan Customs Consultancy continues to strengthen its expertise, consultancy services and team as it moves into the new year.
This includes a well-deserved promotion for Kat Sim, who steps into the role of Operations Lead.
Kat’s promotion marks an exciting chapter for the Bethan and recognises her strong performance, attention to detail and proactive approach to leading operational improvements across the company.
Bethan is an independent specialist customs and international trade consultancy, supporting businesses of all sizes as they navigate complex customs regulations. Through a practical, people-first approach, they help clients stay compliant with HMRC, streamline cross-border processes, and manage customs risk effectively.
Since joining Bethan Customs Consultancy in 2024, Kat has been instrumental in coordinating internal systems, strengthening delivery processes, and supporting team collaboration, all while ensuring operations run smoothly behind the scenes.
In her new role as Operations Lead, Kat will take on more strategic responsibility for day-to-day operations, ensuring the business continues to deliver high-quality, efficient, and compliant support to clients. She will play a key role in driving continuous improvement, championing internal systems, and enabling the wider team to thrive.
