Mike Henderson, currently Commercial and BD Director for our Aberdeen based team is retiring on February 24. Mike has been an integral part of the offshore business over the last decade and in his time with Bilfinger UK, he has helped expand and diversify the firms' service range as part of the growth strategy.
Mike is working with the Offshore Leadership Team to manage the transition and provide a comprehensive handover with his successor Joseph Strachan. Originally from Fraserburgh, Joe graduated from Robert Gordon University (RGU) in 2000 with an Honours degree in Quantity Surveying. He has lived and worked in Aberdeen since 2004. Joe has a thorough grounding in the Construction and Energy industries for over 22 years, most recently as a Senior Commercial Manager with Wood. Joe has extensive experience with tendering, project execution and project governance. He joins Bilfinger at a time of increasing activity and in a highly competitive marketplace where commercial experience and innovation are key to progress.
