The founders of Blaze Manufacturing Solutions have announced they are stepping away from the business and handing it over to Balmoral Group.
Ann Johnson and Howard Johnson made the decision to relinquish their directorships and shareholdings after 19 years of dedication and leadership.
While Howard will continue to support the business in an ad-hoc advisory capacity for the next two years, ensuring a smooth transition, Ann is to step away entirely, with the pair entrusting Balmoral Group with the responsibility of building on the firm's success in the future.
To support that next phase, Blaze has strengthened its senior leadership team with the appointments of George Fisher as managing director and Craig Thornhill as finance director, bringing additional leadership capability and focus as the business continues to evolve.
George Fisher, managing director of Blaze Manufacturing Solutions Ltd, commented: “I would sincerely like to thank Ann and Howard for their leadership and commitment, and for ensuring a smooth handover.
"Blaze has been built on incredibly strong foundations, and over the past months in my role as managing director, I’ve had the opportunity to see first-hand the strength of the business, the team, and the relationships they have created.
"I’m looking forward to continuing to work closely with Howard over the next period to support a seamless transition and ensure continuity for our customers and our people.
"As we move into a new year, this marks an exciting chapter for Blaze. With the support of Balmoral Group, our focus remains firmly on growth, innovation, and expanding our team as we invest in new capability and future opportunities.
"On behalf of everyone at Blaze and the wider Balmoral Group, I’d like to thank Ann and Howard for their dedication and the legacy they leave behind.”
