Scottish family-run bed, sofa and furniture specialist Bliss Beds is set to open in the Trinity Centre, Aberdeen, following the success of its Dundee branch.

Bliss Beds, which has stores in Dundee, Perth, and Kirkcaldy has begun fitting out at the Trinity Centre, in a near 5000 sq. ft store. The store is looking to open mid July in time for the Tall Ship races.

The move comes after Bliss Beds noticed many customers at the Dundee store had travelled from Aberdeen.

Kenny Bruce, centre manager for Trinity Aberdeen. welcomed the arrival of the furnishing specialist store.

He said: “It’s Fantastic to bring Bliss to the Trinity Centre, this brings another exciting new addition to the centres retail offering.

"Since the centre has taken new local ownership, we have seen the opening of 16 new stores and new lease commitments, supporting our commitment to bring new brands to Aberdeen.

"We most recently celebrated the opening of Lovisa here in the centre, welcoming this well-known Australian brand to our city, which attracted immense customer support, leading to long lines and the need for security to manage queuing.

"The response to these new openings has been great and wonderful to see shoppers actively engaged in Aberdeen.

"As we strive to look at opportunities to reimagine space to its fullest potential for our customers and the city, we are excited for the remainder of 2025 with some fantastic projects on the horizon."

Gary, the owner of Bliss Beds, said: "The Trinity Centre store formed the next step of our plans to expand our network of stores into the North-east of Scotland, having had many customers coming to our store in Dundee from Aberdeen, we were looking for a central location and Trinity Centre is the city centre of Aberdeen.

"We are happy to be in such a key location in the city, and excited to bring Bliss Beds to Aberdeen and the Trinity Centre."
