World-class dance company São Paulo will visit Aberdeen’s His Majesty’s Theatre on Tuesday, February 16 and Wednesday, February 17 2027, presented by Dance Consortium.

With dancers renowned for their technical brilliance and vibrant personalities, São Paulo Dance Company delivers performances that fuse athleticism, precision and emotional intensity. 

Led by Inês Bogéa and internationally celebrated for its dynamic repertoire, the company showcases a distinctive artistic voice where classical technique meets contemporary innovation, driven by a powerful Latin pulse.   

Aberdeen Performing Arts Head of Programming, Steven Milne, said: “There is so much passion and enthusiasm here in the Granite City for exceptional dance from all over the globe, and São Paulo Dance Company are among the very best.

“We know Aberdeen will give them a warm welcome and what a treat to have such amazing world-class dancers on our local stage.”

His Majesty’s Theatre is part of Dance Consortium, a group of 24 large-scale venues based across the UK and Ireland set up to engage audiences with the best contemporary dance from across the world.

Working together, the theatres jointly choose the international companies they wish to invite to tour the UK and Ireland, they share the costs of each of the tours and use their collective knowledge and expertise to ensure that the artists achieve the highest level of presentation to enthusiastic audiences.
