The Bon Accord Centre has issued a statement on the coronavirus for its customers.
Craig Stevenson, centre manager, said: “In line with government guidance, the centre will be open as usual. This is to ensure that the local community has access to important supplies, medicine and food.
“We would like to take this opportunity to reassure customers who need to visit us that the centre team is working incredibly hard to make this a safe environment for you. Our cleaning has increased, and we are making every effort to ensure that high use areas are regularly disinfected. The wellbeing of our customers, staff and employees is our priority.
“The policies and opening hours of shops within the centre will vary. We would recommend that you contact these retailers directly to learn about any changes they have made to their hours.
“Finally, we commend our retailers who are making extra effort to support the community during this time. It has been amazing to see the work they have put in to make sure that those most vulnerable and key workers have access to the essentials they need. Seeing these acts of kindness have only made us prouder to be in the heart of Aberdeen city.”
